Terms of Use

These are the terms for using Solume, an app for motivational quotes, psychology tips, meditation, and a personal journal. By downloading or using Solume, you agree to these terms.

The app

Solume is provided by Vadim Tomșa. The app offers a free tier and an optional paid tier ("Solume Pro") with additional daily content, unlimited favorites, and quote history.

Accounts

Creating an account is optional. If you sign in, you're responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for anything that happens under your account. You must provide an accurate email address. You can delete your account's data at any time from Settings.

Subscriptions and purchases

Solume Pro is offered as auto-renewing subscriptions (Monthly, Yearly) and a one-time Lifetime purchase, sold and billed entirely through your Apple ID via the App Store.

• Payment: Charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase.
• Auto-renewal: Monthly and Yearly subscriptions renew automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period, at the price you agreed to.
• Free trial: The Yearly plan may include a 7-day free trial. If you don't cancel before the trial ends, you'll be charged the full Yearly price.
• Managing or cancelling: Manage or cancel your subscription anytime in your device's Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep Pro access through the end of the period you already paid for.
• Lifetime: A one-time purchase, no renewal, no recurring charge.
• Refunds: Handled by Apple under its own refund policies — we don't process payments or refunds directly. Contact Apple Support to request one.

Your content

Anything you write in your diary, or the favorites you save, belongs to you. We don't claim ownership of it, and we don't use it for anything other than providing the app's sync feature back to you (see the Privacy Policy for the full detail on how it's stored and protected).

Acceptable use

Use Solume for its intended personal purpose. Don't try to disrupt the service, reverse-engineer the app beyond what's legally permitted, or use it in a way that violates any applicable law.

Content in the app

Quotes, tips, and curiosities shown in the app are provided for motivational and general-interest purposes only. Solume, including its meditation and journal features, is not a substitute for professional medical, psychological, or mental health advice, diagnosis, or treatment. If you're experiencing a mental health crisis, please contact a qualified professional or your local emergency services.

Availability

We aim to keep Solume available and working well, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted access — features may change, and the service may occasionally be unavailable for maintenance or reasons outside our control.

Termination

You can stop using Solume and delete your account's data at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for accounts that violate these terms.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

Solume is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change materially, we'll update the date above and, where required, notify you in the app.
